A candy pink hue in the glass. Made from sangiovese grown in Orange… Mercer has nailed the style, vintage after vintage. ’24 is no different with ruby grapefruit, blush nectarines and crab apples. So, too, raspberry leaf, pickled ginger and blood orange bitters. The slinky shape makes the most of elevated acidity and a dryness of skin tannins whips your attention back to the fat. This is a wine of substance. It’s a bloody excellent wine and for the price it’s bonkers. Buy more than a case.

Deep ruby red with purple tints at the rim. Blackberry pastille, rosemary and crushed violet aromas. Full and dense black fruits with bitumen and black spices adding intrigue. Good length, gravelly tannins driving the finish to a bone-dry conclusion.

Light and bright lemon yellow in the glass. Green apple, white flowers and sea breeze on the nose. Lively and taut across the tongue. Light to medium weight but with great concentration of green apple and lemon fruits at its core. Angling from that central line, saline minerality and roasting nuts add complexity as it carries very long to the bright finish.

A full and weighty shiraz with loads of dark berry intensity at the core that is well balanced by dark minerality and a meaty undertone. Tannins are firm and persistent, built to match the fruit weight thus ensuring length and precision to the dry finish

An outstanding Hunter vermentino that successfully traverses the elements of texture and vibrancy. The palate is fabulously expansive, with clean citrus flavours and delicate notes of acacia. Lighter in body with excellent flavour length and charm.
