Home Grown Tasting
Our newest tasting and our most local. The Home Grown Tasting takes you through six wines from two of our most exciting ranges, the Limited Release and the brand new Cellar Door Release, all grown in the Hunter Valley by growers we know, trust and are genuinely proud to work with.
The Cellar Door Release is something you will not find anywhere else. Three small batch wines grown within a stone’s throw of our front door, sustainably farmed and made exclusively for visitors to our cellar door. The Limited Release wines sit alongside them, single vineyard, small batch and built to age.
Paired with a Binnorie cheese plate and hosted by our knowledgeable cellar door team, this is the tasting for those who want to go a little deeper into what Mercer Wines is really about.

The Mercer Spring Lunch is back and this year we’re doing it across two glorious days, because last year’s sold-out event made it very clear that once simply wasn’t enough.
Join us at the cellar door on Sunday 18th October 2026 for the Garden Party Edition. Think fresh shucked oysters, roaming hot hors d’oeuvres, high tea favourites, and sweet surprises from some of the Hunter’s most loved local names. Think new release Mercer wines poured from the moment you arrive. Think live music, croquet on the lawn, dancing, Best Dressed, and a team of genuinely brilliant people who will make sure your glass is never empty.
