Australia’s Wine Industry Welcomes the Launch of Picpoul in NSW
The Australian wine scene is abuzz with excitement as five innovative wine producers from New South Wales combine to launch the highly anticipated arrival of Picpoul to the local wine scene Hosted by the winemakers at Horner Wines, Borrowed Cuttings, Mercer Wines, Windowrie Organic Wines and Saddlers Creek. Guests and wine-lovers will be able to experience a range of Picpoul styles from these producers at the renowned Longshore Restaurant where executive chef Jarred Walsh will pair the wines with local seafood with an Asian twist.
Picpoul, a grape variety traditionally grown in the Languedoc region of France, has found its new home among the picturesque vineyards of NSW, Australia.
Steve Faletti, Owner of Borrowed Cuttings, who originally imported the cuttings into NSW 10 years ago said, “We are thrilled to announce the launch of Picpoul in NSW.
